The Asia-Pacific region stands as a powerhouse of global economic advancement, yet it faces significant threats from climate change. Although green technologies are slowly gaining traction, a recent analysis indicates that their growth is insufficient to address the escalating environmental challenges in the region.

In response to these pressing issues, we are excited to announce the launch of the first-ever Google DeepMind Accelerator program in the Asia-Pacific, centered on the theme of “AI for the Planet.”

This intensive three-month initiative is tailored for startups, research groups, and nonprofits aimed at leveraging cutting-edge AI to address critical issues related to nature, climate, agriculture, energy, and beyond. Participating organizations will benefit from expert mentorship, personalized guidance, and assistance in integrating advanced AI and scientific models developed by Google AI experts into their projects or products.

If you are engaged in creating solutions for climate-related challenges, we are eager to support the growth of your work. The program will begin with a hands-on bootcamp in Singapore, and further details, along with the opportunity to express your interest, are available now.
