Artificial intelligence is poised to usher in an unprecedented wave of entrepreneurs in the United States, even as concerns linger about potential job losses.

While it's true that many of these new ventures may not survive for long—thanks to AI enabling questionable business models to take shape, often characterized as disruptive “AI slop” prevalent on social media—the sheer volume of AI-driven startups is impressive. According to Aaron Terrazas, an economist affiliated with small business services provider Gusto, this surge is likely to generate a number of enduring companies, even after the less viable startups fade away.
