While businesses are beginning to recognize the impacts of artificial intelligence, much of the current discourse has centered on potential job losses and cost reductions tied to AI. Fears of AI eliminating jobs may be misplaced. To date, evidence of widespread job cuts due to AI is minimal; in fact, many companies continue to hire vigorously for roles related to AI implementation and infrastructure.
That said, we are approaching a demographic cliff, affecting various sectors differently. Industries like healthcare, construction, and skilled trades, which rely heavily on human labor, are likely to experience the most significant shortages.
