The current market landscape suggests that significant investments, totaling trillions, are being directed towards the belief that artificial general intelligence (AGI) is on the horizon. Major companies are tangled in a competitive race, pouring vast resources into the development of AI technologies.

I am David B. McMillan, an investor focused on fundamental valuations. My investment strategy centers around identifying undervalued securities based on their expected future cash flows. Additionally, I implement a tactical allocation approach, taking more aggressive positions when equity prices are lower and scaling back during higher price levels. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from UCSB, and I am currently a CFA Level 2 candidate. My primary interest lies in the aerospace and defense sectors, though I also follow retail and technology companies closely. Over my 12 years of investing, I have witnessed and documented impressive returns in AI, tech, and crypto sectors prior to their mainstream recognition—investing in NVDA in 2017 yielded an 8000% gain, PLTR at its IPO saw a 1870% rise, AMD also in 2017 provided a 3700% return, and TSLA in 2016 resulted in a 3400% gain. By 2018, I had already included all of the "Magnificent Seven" stocks in my portfolio before they garnered that nickname. My demo portfolio, which commenced in April 2025 with roughly $8,000 of my own capital, currently boasts a Sharpe ratio of 3.49, outpacing IVV's 2.42 over the same duration. My daily average return stands at 0.30%, compared to IVV’s 0.14%.
